I believe chan and i.n met when they had to put together a Halloween performance for a trainee event and that is how chan met and started considering i.n for his group and I belive jyp said to chan to form a group and let me know when it'd complete and I will test you to debut.

The Halloween comment I believe is in reference to the Halloween trainee showcase that Bang Chan and I.N did together (where I.N played the Joker). From what I gather through all the different times they've mentioned it, I.N was still a weekend trainee during that showcase, meaning he spent his weekdays in Busan to go to school (before he transferred to SOPA with Hyunjin) and would take the train to Seoul for the weekends. He was recording himself practicing after school to send to Chan since he wasn't in Seoul for their rehearsals during the week.

I've not heard anything official on how Chan came to know or make his decisions, but I do know that there were a couple people Chan had chosen that never made it to the show, including: - Yao Chen who went off to debut with R1SE before they disbanded and he became a soloist. - Allen Ma who was apparently already in the SKZ lineup but then ended up leaving JYPE and debuted with Cravity. - a trainee (name redacted as he isn't famous) who was close with Han and Natty (she trained with Twice/ITZY before debuting with Kiss of Life) but he left to return to the US

I love that you reacted to Black Hole in the same video. I thoroughly enjoyed watching the entire video. Interesting combo, these two. They get along very well and musically, vocally they sound so beautiful together. When I realised we were getting a chan-I.N. ep I cheered knowing we would get gorgeous vocals. And we sure did. Not to mention a beautiful metaphor in the lyrics. Loved it. But the entire conversation was lovely too. Gave quite the insight in their characters. Oh and I just love when you find something in the subtitles that is a bit off. Soooo relatable!!! And no I dont think the connotation is different in other English speaking parts of the world.

It's crazy how much content I've missed from SKZ. Who'd have thunk I would have to listen to a SKZ-RECORD just to be able to finish watching a 2 Kid's Show. Geez. Do I have any hopes of catching up? Who know, but off I go to try.

I really love this combo. I.N while frustrated by his adoring older brothers in skz a lot of the time is also so very accepting of them, and i think he understands on some level chans need to be able to be a kid sometimes and he just, lets it happen and enjoys it. While the others of course have an understanding of the pressures that chan has as a leader, i think the fact that innie was in a different trainee age group and could have been the leader for a younger group if he didnt end up in skz gives him a unique perspective to understanding chans struggles. He also always gives me the vibe that while he might be annoyed by how he gets babied sometimes, he knows that the alternative could have been a lot of years of harder struggle and so i think he secretly appreciates and is very thankful for them looking after him so much (even if it means accepting zero personal space lol) I absolutely adore this song and am still desperately hoping we will get another replay album soon so i can have it on a cd and streaming.

Yeah, I think you're right on your thoughts about I.N being in a trainee group separate from SKZ at first. That put together with him having both an older brother and a younger brother probably put him in a good spot to understand what it takes.
