"Buzz buzz..." Meet Bad Buzz! (Patreon)

Bad Buzz, Ribbon's persona. A shady bee of very few words and with a nasty stinger to boot!

Ribbon is one playful fairy and loves to dress up. This helped her cope with her lack of confidence by having a version of herself that doesn't care about how others perceive her.

A character to look up to, for her confidence only, but who, unlike her fairy alter ego, does deserves everything that happens to her. Mostly due to her nasty personality. While Bad Buzz is played to be crass, gross and mean, Ribbon could never do that to those she holds dear.

Really cool, very realistic take of why people make personas, will we see her next episode maybe?

Cheers! I will have her wear this costume in a future episode, but it'll be in a little while.

I like to imagine this is the Ribbon in the bad future where she fell deep into her Disprite genes and this is what we got instead.

That would be a very similiar result, indeed!

But really this form of therapy is very cute and fitting for Ribbon, it's how I can see her handling her isolation back in Ripple Star. I wonder how nasty Bad Buzz would act by Fairy standards. Also, I can imagine Buzz Buzz and pre-reincarnation Adeleine together in a dour duo. Does she retains Bad Buzz now that she relocated?

That would be a perfect duo, pretty much their dark counterparts. Bad Buzz does live on in Ribbon's mind, even now on Popstar. Ribbon brought all of her clothes with her, including Bad Buzz, not wanting to "leave her behind" after being so helpful. Even when Adeleine sorta does Bad Buzz's job for her by being the new "Badass girl to look up to". Well, with much less angst, at least.

I say more badass the merrier, because Bad Buzz is the cutest thing to Ribbon I've ever seen so far

Aww, thank you! I really like this look on Ribbon too. Rather than being a "What if" design, I prefer it being a real thing within the series without it being a "Split personality character" trope. That way, this outfit can appear in the show, from time to time.

And I just woke up and I want to share you on a very funny tidbit. I actually did have a real old Ripple Star Fairy character that was a based on Bees who called himself Buzz Bee in fact who loved caring for bees.

There's something about bees and fairies that just works, right? The Buzz Bee and Bad Buzz crossover trilogy movies will go crazy!

in fact bringing this up, me revamping Buzz Bee would sound like a stellar idea i could do in the future
