Cinder & Piggy (Patreon)

So a few years ago when I was making guides for Souls games, occasionally I'd have viewers that would get very upset if I played anything other than Dark Souls. Rather, if I uploaded anything other than Dark Souls, people would say things like "If you don't make DS videos anymore I'm unsubbing!". So I'd ban them. It was never about growing my channel or becoming a YouTuber, I made guides to help my friends, & in turn, other people. That was getting on my nerves & so I decided to make an animatic to make fun of these type of viewers.🔥

Somewhere along the line I drew a little Piggy character. From the very beginning, seeing Piggy getting kicked out & running back to the house only to have a door slammed in front of 'em, I knew the story wasn't gonna be a comedy making fun of Souls fans. Even just now when I went to embed the video it started playing automatically & I can't help but cry. Not because the story is a massive tearjerker or even really all that sad, but because I feel like I've wasted so much time not making more stuff with Piggy. So the snowmen are in trouble now.☃️

We look very different in this as it was my first time drawing in this art style. It's only recently where I'm a bit more consistent drawing like this. I was mostly used to drawing abstract nonsense where I just fill the whole page without much thought put into anything. To summarize, I was making an animatic to make fun of Souls fans but I fell in love with Piggy. Even though I don't see myself as a YouTuber or anything like that, I'm forever grateful to the Souls series because without the annoying fanbase I would've never found Piggy & probably wouldn't even have made a YouTube channel.🧡💜
