these are some ROUGH episodes for team seven ohmdfflsskds 😭 i really do not agree with sai saying that naruto is only doing this for sakura, but i think it's definitely important to point out that so many people (not just sakura) are placing heavy expectations onto him. i think this started to be more apparent to me during the pain arc. and listen, if i were in their position, id do the same, so i get it........but damn we can't ALWAYS rely on naruto!!! 😩

but zetsu going to cause chaos during the kage metting lmfao 😭 and tobi going to interrupt naruto's yearn marathon lmfao BROTHERRRR 😭😭😭😭 he has been growing on me a lot this arc tbh...tobi is a good (evil) boy. and danzo still sucks LOL

I’ve been waiting for this. So finding out that Danzo has Shisu’s eye pissed me off and still does to this day I’m like this bitch bastard just keeps grinding my gears!! Shisu was him🫡🔥 bruh the way tobi/madra pulled up on Naruto was so cold and chilling still gives me chills I recommend you look at that scene in dub eventually. Naruto just like do you think about us at all Sasuke and I remember when I saw that scene for the first time I was like he definitely does buddy he literally thought about you guys when his team was risking their lives for him during the killer bee fight. Sai telling Sakura those things about Naruto very emotional and we definitely gotta talk about a certain controversial thing that happens in 206….I know you hinted at it on stream today. Also Sasuke in his villain era let me tell you it was a joy and a site to see still some of my favorite Sasuke moments shit is just too cold with him. He is an avenger after all sad but also bad ass at the same time. You gotta love how far sai has come expressing his feelings he really cares now and Shikamaru giving wise words as usual. I’m not gonna lie when Kiba told Ino to stop crying I always laugh because I’m like Sasuke definitely doesn’t care about you guys I’m sorry🫡🤣 also take care of yourself alana 🫶🖤

This arc just goes to show Sasuke and Naruto are like Ying/Yang in nature. While Naruto is becoming a light within the Leaf and the ninja world, Sasuke is becoming the darkness.

I highly recommend watching that last scene with Madara in 201 in Dub. Madara's English VA kills that line. Its so menacing with that his deep voice.

The Sharingan, Byakugan and Rinnegan are all considered "Dōjutsu" (Great Visual Justus) and so far only the Hidden Leaf has had clans with these special eyes. As they mentioned in the summit, the villages secretly try to gather as much power and jutsu as they can for self preservation and the Dōjutsu are the most coveted, which is why Ao (the Mist ninja) considers his Byakugan a spoil of War and why Danzo was upset it fell into enemy hands. If Sasuke dies at the summit, one of these villages (likely the Hidden Cloud since they already tried and failed to steal the Byakugan), would want to take Sasuke's Sharingan for themselves.

2026-09-07 13:00 danzo wanted to retrieve the sharingan because he thinks sasuke will most likely die fighting this many kage and jonin shinobi, he didn't want the other villages to take the sharingan, learn its secrets and then use it against the leaf one day. He always looking out for the leaf village.

And yet the direct result of his actions caused the destruction of the leaf. Losers stay losing. The leaf would have managed just fine without him in fact Danzo created so many enemies of the leaf (some yet to be revealed) im surprised it was destroyed sooner. And if it was attacked sooner that baby back bitch would still be hiding underground because he knows the only way he can take power is by weaseling his way into that position.

I dislike this arc but mostly because how of misinterpreted it usually gets . Also I am sorry but Sai and Shikamaru teaming up to gaslight Sakura into thinking she's putting this burden onto Naruto and dismissing her pain and feelings upsets me a lot. They were WRONG for that. Naruto at this point is not wanting to just bring Sasuke back because of a promise he made to Sakura.. he just wants to bring his friend back in general.

I’m an avid Sakura defender but I actually disagree with your take a bit. I don’t think they were teaming up or gaslighting. First off, Shikamaru did not even mention Sakura putting the burden on Naruto, that was all Sai. Shikamaru was thinking pragmatically as he always does. He simply went to her for her consent to let her know what has to be done. As far as Sai, he’s not entirely wrong. The audience understands that Naruto is primarily driven by his own desire to bring Sasuke back, but from the character’s perspective, especially Sai’s, it seems as though Sakura is encouring Naruto’s obsession with what they feel is a pointless goal of trying to bring Sasuke back to the village. I will agree that Sai’s approach was a bit reckless since he doesn’t have all the facts or see both sides clearly, but it’s not gaslighting.

We can agree to disagree because as a manga reader Sai was absolutely gaslighting her and that situation could have been handled in a better way. These characters aren’t without flaws, all of them, but it’s just so frustrating seeing how incredibly forgiving people are towards usually male characters in comparison. Sai gauged his judgment alone from seeing how far Naruto would go for Sasuke or his friends in general, Naruto who usually wears his heart on his sleeve and is driven by emotions a lot, and goes ahead to dismiss Sakura and her feelings essentially blaming her for causing Naruto a similar kind of pain that Sasuke had been causing him. I know he’s just looking out for Naruto but this was still very ignorant on his part and ultimately results in her taking actions as reckless as they may be (spoilers) just to rid naruto of the supposed burden she’s given him, which is also untrue.

I think you might have missed it just as I did initially so I'll just leave a comment. So basically Byakugan user said "Shisui had the ability to manipulate others without anybody even knowing they are being manipulated" inferring that Danzo, right at that moment, was manipulating Mifune into saying "I put forward Danzo's name to lead the Allied Shinobi forces" which Mifune confirmed in this episode by saying, "I may have anyways taken your name but now you have lost your credibility" Hence that are keeping an eye on him in this episode

I know this is way late but to play devil's advocate on the idea that everyone is just relying on Naruto. Both Shikamaru and Sakura took down an Akatsuki member essentially without Naruto's involvement, and a large portion of the village literally died cause they refused to tell Pain where Naruto was. Naruto has great power and like it or not with great power comes great responsibility.
