now why do they have me feeling emotions for hanzo 😐 never thought i'd see the day LMAOOOO. but poor team ten is now face to face with asuma.....ouchie!!! it absolutely sucks that they have to do this but they are very brave for it :(((

we are slowly but surely making progress yall!!! i understand the complaints about pacing LMFAO, especially ending 271 with team ten and then leaving them for an episode. but they're still hitting emotional moments! i'm excited for it to eventually pick up more 😎

The anime was only a year behind the manga at this point and they were adapting less than a chapter per episode for the early war, so lots of padding unfortunately 😭

I will say the episode of Hanson and Mifuuna got me too years ago, I think I even remember crying lol. But yeah the lore behind the salamander being put inside of him and stuff yeah that is fucked, Hanzo at one point did want peace like Nagato, but as you said he didn’t think it would ever happen and it’s like can you blame him because it is idealistic. Crazy they didn’t show him get killed by pain until that episode though. Tenten put in work it sucks they barely gave her any canon screen time lol it’s so ass they did her dirty. The Asuma stuff was such emotional damage still hurts me to this day turn this shit off. Makes me want to do a backflip and land on my face😭😭him killing a shinobi with a picture of his wife and baby nasty work….Kurani and their baby 😭😭

got damnit 273 got me in tears again.. asuma death left a huge impact onto the story. like that’s shikamaru, ino, and choji father like figure.. each teams bond is truly special as like how choji just doesn’t want to attack asuma.. like it’s breaking his heart :/

Mifune vs. Hanzo is randomly one of my favorite fights in the war. I think Kishimoto tried to give all "villains" a tragic or relatable story. Didn't land for me with Danzo (he got a flashback at death too but I still just hated him) but Hanzo's transformation in life really gets me. How many of us are strong enough to hold on to our convictions?

Hanzo has always been an honorable shinobi. He was the one that acknowledged and gave the title of Legendary Sanin to Jiraiya, Tsunade and Orochimaru. He also acknowledged Yahiko's akatsuki before Danzo interfered. Hanzo became paranoid in his old age, seeking to protect his power and control over the Hidden Rain, rather than fighting for peace in the ninja world. Its a case of living long enough to become the villain.

now i remember what i hated about the show , they already had flashbacks too often and then they added flashback on flashbacks , and flashbacks from 1 episode before , even some from the same episode , in a 20 minute show XD

They said Nagato murdered everyone close/related to Hanzo lol even his followers/children’s . Basically deleted the whole bloodline then ended the civil war in the rain village and become its leader that civilians worshiped
