so sad to see kabuto's true thoughts of wanting to be accepted for who is he. and then sasuke and itachi having to say goodbye ughhhh 😭 i was kinda conflicted on this tbh because on one hand i think its amazing that itachi can finally tell sasuke the truth and tell him he loves him. they both deserve this moment so much. but i think i have trauma from 141 and im just scared of how sasuke will react to this lmao whole time i was just kinda worried😭😭😭 these doomed siblings!!!! </3

i am extremely excited for the next few episodes !!! more on friday!!!

339 is a hurts. One of the saddest moments of the show. I can now say this: This is my favorite Shippuden ending song but boy does it come with so much trauma especially with rewatches of these seens lol. I believe this is the last time I can think of it applying "Fuck Danzo"

I have conflicting feelings on Itachi to this day (as does a lot of the fandom) particularly as an older brother myself. But my personal feelings aside, he’s definitely one of the most well-written characters in recent memory.

I think one of the things I realized watching this show, something probably people overlook is the fact that the Leaf Village's peace is established on the violent destruction of other people's lives, the brighter the light the Leaf had the darker the shadows were as well.

Rant: Ight this is one of the sequences of episodes that mean a lot to me on an emotional level that I’ve waited for you to see. I’ve said before in streams and stuff that I relate to Naruto and Sasuke and that’s one of the main reasons Naruto became my favorite anime/manga. My big brother took up the responsibility to take care of me after our parents passed when I was a little kid. I look at my brother as a hero and as someone I really look up to and care about. So the Sasuke and Itachi stuff hurt me on so many levels. That damn line of you never have to forgive me and no matter what you do from here on out I will love you always….man that shit always makes me cry Itachi the things you did was rough, but you are still a goat in my eyes rest easy once again him killing the mom and dad GOD it hurts!!!! I recommend that scene in dub when you get a chance. Now that Kabuto stuff of him wanting to be wanted and appreciated man that shit was always sad. I hate him for the stuff he did, but I felt sad for dude. The Izanami backstory is fire always🔥🔥 and seeing the different Uchiha’s with their unique mangekyo Sharingan!!!!! Would of loved if they went in on more of the female Uchiha’s backstory with the flower mangekyo PEAK!!!! Bruh the perfect Susanoo moment will never not be hilarious but cool as hell the disrespect what adult would go full force when fighting mere children 🤣🤣🤣🤣 rivaling the tailed beast I remember hearing that and being like what level of anime god bullshit is this LMAO

it was such a bitter sweet moment, Itachi imo is probably the most traumatized character in the show 😭 loved the reaction!!! you took the 3rd episode better then I did, I was bauling for the whole day and refused to lay in bed cus why did itachi had to suffer everything alone and be hated this whole time 😭

You absolutely nailed the reflection/analysis of ep 339. I love how they faked us out by making it seem like Itachi was going to flick Sasuke on his forehead. Every time he flicked his forehead, he would always say “maybe next time,” and it was used as a way to create distance between them. He always tried to keep Sasuke at arm’s length while carrying the burden of the truth alone. Even at his death, Itachi flicked his forehead, which we first thought was a sign of affection. Although that may be true, it was also Itachi’s last attempt to distance himself from Sasuke. He continued to put on a facade and played the villain role at his deathbed, and he never told Sasuke the truth. That’s what makes this scene so beautiful. He actually embraces Sasuke. For the first time, Itachi tells him the entire truth. There is no deception or performance, and they were able to close the gap both physically (an embrace you are holding tight to someone whereas a flick, you are at arm’s length) and mentally. Both of them were able to achieve some level of closure that were denied from them from Danzo and the elders. #FuckDanzo I'm glad you noticed all of this. Can't wait for more reactions!

When I watched Naruto as a kid Itachi was by far my favorite character and I thought he was essentially a hero and that he did no wrong throughout the series. Growing up it hit me just how flawed of a person Itachi was and he'll probably be the first to admit it. Slaughtering the Uchiha and becoming this source of torment for Sasuke post-childhood, even if he meant well by it by no means justifies his actions and I love the narrative for not deifying Itachi as a saint who did no wrong. "Do not ever say I was perfect." But I love that despite his flaws, Itachi allowed Sasuke to see the full picture of him and come to his own conclusions. Just like their Father was proud of Itachi despite of their differing philosophies, Itachi will love Sasuke always despite their differing life paths <3

First taking Shisui's eye, then wanting the annihilation of the Uchiha, killing the toad to prevent Naruto from returning to the Leaf during the Pain Arc (putting more of the pressure on Tsunade, to later end up becoming "Hokage"), the Kabuto backstory, and personally meeting up with Itachi about the mission, this man Danzo is such a scumbag. He always manages to find himself being somewhat, the root of all of these issues more than half the time, "all for the sake of the Leaf". "Fuck Danzo" as always dude 💀💀💀

Now Itachis death hits harder because when he does the finger tap on Sasuke before dying you think he showed a little of sincerity and love, but its actually the oposite, as you hear Itachi say now that was his way of always lying, apologizing and keeping distance

itachi loved sasuke so much that he lets him know that "doesn't matter what you do from now on" . So even if sasuke actually destroys the village that itachi loved . Itachi would still loves him . meaning sasuke was above anything else in itachis life even the village and his principles.
