wtf just happened 👁️👁️ madara really was out here using poor young obito who just escaped death to his advantage FMLLLL!!! obito was so sweet. its so sad to see his descent. i'm so curious what was up with rin and the hidden mist village?? 😭 what a horrible situation for rin and kakashi and obito 😭

i only just remembered while editing that madara actually had connections to the hidden mist village with the fourth mizukage. so honestly i think he was somehow involved with this rin stuff idkkkk i definitely need to talk about this more in a future upload😭

crazy to see the origin of zetsu though and the swirly mask!!! i love all this lore so much :D i will be watching the upcoming filler episodes so you can expect that for the next few uploads! see you on friday!

Mangekyo abilities are strongly shaped by their wielders, we all know Obito's Kamui abilities, but it also works as a symbolic reflection of how he copes with trauma and loss. There’s an irony to it as well. It makes Obito seem untouchable, but he isn’t truly free from his pain. No matter how often he escapes into another dimension, the grief that drove him remains. His power lets him avoid physical attacks, but it can’t erase the emotional wound that motivates him.

The irony. He wanted to escape from this reality, and his mangekyo gave him his own dimension where he could hide. Obito really reminds me a lot of Darth Vader LMAO.

Ready for this Rant?!🤣🤣 Madara casual taking down all the damn Kage and splitting Tsunade in 2!!!! Bruuh!!!! seeing that for the first time was wild as hell!! Madara saying he can't depend on any of you lol. Naruto with the dead man shouldn't go around screwing things up line is always so damn cold!!!! Yeahhhh Madara using obito so he can make the ultimate plan is so damn sad dude. Seeing obito really trying to keep hope going and wanting to get back to Kakashi and Rin will never not be sad. Like he really tried man. But, not gonna lie Madara was speaking facts about his speech with reality always gives me chills because unfortunately it's kinda true ya know. Obito crashing out when he saw Rin die is just still very chilling and horrifying no matter how many times I see it. And the symbolism with the wood style surrounding the red moon like his Sharingan with his mask PEAK. OBITO and Kakashi unlocking the mangekyo at the same time because of the loss of Rin.... Gyatttt damn man it's rough. Madara manipulation of the darkness and reality in obito's heart is so damn sad, but Peak villainy. Obito not being able to touch rin at first because of his power cruel as hell.... Remember when Obito was fighting konan and he said I was the one who gave Nagato the rinnegan?? Yes he was literally not lying about that lol. Kushina also mentioned that the uzumaki clan are distant blood relatives of the senju aka they're cousins of them that's why Nagato is of Senju blood line. Ight that's enough rant over🤣🤣 I can't believe your this far in already.

Kakashi has really adjusted well after so many horrible things happening to him fr. - His dad committing suicide, leading him to initially believing his dad was a failure - Believing Obito died (and fucking seeing him in the flesh all this time later?!) - Killing Rin for reasons we still need Like how has he not lost his damn mind

345 is in my opinion one of the best episodes of Naruto. The music and direction of the Obito fight is perfect. But man poor Obito "I am in hell"

Fun/crazy Fact: Obito's massacre is HEAVILY censored. The version you watched is already a censored version of the original animated scene, which was also censored from the manga. It rlly is a tragic scene in all mediums poor Obito 😭

Wouldn't he be 14/15? He'd be the exact same age as Kakashi was in part 1 (26/27) around the same time. If we go back 12 years prior (since Naruto was 12-13 in part 1), that would make him around 14 or 15 when the Ninetails attacked the Leaf.

344-346 are my absolute favorite episodes of Shippuden, so much lore and so much to discuss from this: -Madara basically seeded his idealogy into Obito knowing that he had a deep love for his friends and village and that love could turn to hate eventually (like how Itachi used Sasuke's love for him to make him hate and become stronger). -I'm glad you spotted the similarities between Haku and Rin's death. -With Nagato, Uchiha eyes transplanted into non-Uchihas can never "turn off" so its always activated (like Kakashi's eye). We never saw Nagato's normal eyes at any point in the story, so his eyes were definitely transplanted very early on. -As for why Nagato was chosen. Its never stated in the show, but likely because he was a Uzumaki, so Senju lineage. Uzumaki are know for their large amounts of chakra which is needed to use the Rinnegan. It also helped that he was from the Hidden Rain which was unstable due to war. If he suffered loss, he would be easier to manipulate in the future. So much more to glean from these episodes and I'm glad you're watching the upcoming filler too!

i always saw his kamui as if he was a ghost (passing through stuff) and truly died under that boulder, only to awaken in hell, and you can really see that when he tries to touch rin's lifeless body and only passes through her, like he is completely unable to access the world he had prior to his '' death ''

Obito among the best written in the show. I’ve always thought Obito has some kind of dissociative identity disorder, he has so many “masks” literal and mental, and literally flees into a broken dimension when he experiences and executes acts of atrocities. His need to complete the tsuki no me plan also makes more sense. Sad.

Someone else mentioned this too but to think that 345 actually has an even more brutal version of it, as if it wasn't already brutal enough. Obito's fist gets stuck inside that guy's face he's beating on at the end and also it's the only episode that does have an uncsonsored version, has to be the darkest episode or at least the most brutal. Also I love the Obito focused ending too probably my favourite ending. Sorry for bad grammar I'm Dyslexic and it's past midnight lol

Thank you Alana for reacting to one of my favourite Naruto endings of all time. Obito has always been my favourite villain. I will say without no spoilers whatsoever. His motive besides doing it for rin isn’t for something as shallow as “bringing back my crush and making her fall in love with me”. That’s all I will say for now. Great reaction

When I first watched Ep 345 I remember the feeling like it was yesterday. My heart dropped when Kakashi killed Rin. I felt confused and a bit angry towards Kakashi. My heart felt very heavy when Obito went on a rampage. I could feel Obito's incredible fury.
