more AMAZING episodes 😭 i loooooved both of these so much. it's super interesting to hear about more specifics of the sharingan activation and the love the uchiha feel. i adored 367 in particular, because we finally got to see the start of the madara and hashirama duo. they were SOOOO sweet and kind 😭 hashirama calling madara "a gift from the divine" is crazy work 😭

what a crazy ninja world to have the average life expectancy be THIRTY YEARS OLD. things really changed when hashirama took over huh. i really like him so far though. very silly personality!!! him laughing alongside baby tsunade aaaaaaahh🥺

this was more peak forreal. i can't wait to see what else is in store :')

the whole madara/hashirama flashback is one of my absolute favorite runs of episodes in the entire show. their dynamic is so multi-layered. i‘ve been waiting for you to get to this and i‘m so excited for you to see this for the first time!

my favorite thing about this flashback is that it really puts into perspective the issues we discuss about the CURRENT world of Naruto, like it comes in like "oh you think having a 12 year old take bodyguard and fighting jobs is bad? try a fully fledged soldier at 7" the village and mission systems really improved things SO MUCH

Funny enough, their dub VAs in OG Naruto swapped roles in Shippuden (Hashirama's VA in OG became Tobirama in Shippuden and vise versa with Tobirama becoming Hashirama) 💀💀💀

Rant -Hashirama realizing Tsunade is the 5th hokage and getting concerned about the village being safe will never not be funny and him being the reason why she started gambling hilarious and heartwarming. Even the I hate orochimarus evil ass he was spitting facts when he cooked Tobiramas make america great again racist ass. The sharingan being eyes that reflect the heart is both beautiful but sad at the same time. Itachi thinking like a hokage at 7!! Still wild to me. Minato trying to defend Hiruzen like Minato no let Hiruzen take responsibility. I give him props for admitting he fucked up so much like yeahhhh buddy you did. Madara wrapping his Susanoo around Kurama like armor will always be badass and Hashiramas sage art combined with wood style laughing budda jutsu Peak!!!! Some of my favorite episodes in the series. Madara and hashirama meetup as kids for the first time that interaction will never not be funny. Them and their brothers being childhood soldiers with them dying so young is like how it was back then in real life and still today in some countries with childhood soldiers. When I first saw the reveal of where the hidden leaf was built my soul and heart was just like damn ..... beautiful, Madara and hashirama just want to make peace and end the fighting it's sad how they ended up differently. Man I couldn't wait for you to get to these episodes!!!! Also one of my favorite openings/endings

Tobirama’s justified in my opinion. He didnt meet anyone like madara how hashirama did. All he saw the uchiha do is murder his brothers and clan. And in hindsight he was kind of right. I mean look at who the alliance is fighting right now lol. I do love how all off the kage are different tho it makes them unique

I always liked how you can see Hashirama and Tobiramas leading styles reflected in Hiruzen and Danzo. But they each lacked a real backbone to actually hold everyone together. I also don’t believe Tobiramas made up science about Uchiha and saying they’re predisposed to emotion and violence even if it’s kind of aligned to the truth, I think it’s more fear mongering by him.

Madara, one of the most feared shinobi in the world, once being a boy who struggled to piss in peace is hilarious. 😂 Funny note aside, the fact that he's so attached to his childhood. Literally fighting his childhood bestie and he tosses the kyuubi ball to the other side of the sea, like how he and Hashirama tossed rocks across that stream and tells him "I've reached it".

I’m rewriting this as my OG comment had a bit of foreshadowing i think So I’ll just say this instead. When one character calls the other his brother and the other calls him his closest friend, it can be weird to us when someone sexualizes that dynamic especially as fans who view their intimate bond as something thats not based on romantic or sexual attraction at all. I get that most people say it as like a meme or joke because naruto is obsessed with him, that’s fine it happens all the time with close male characters. But sometimes it starts to feel like fanfiction smut which to us who view them as like brothers IS WEIRD lol

I didn’t mean it like these shippers are dehumanizing them or even like they find them both attractive and just want to view them in that kind of relationship, I just meant If one side views them as brothers and the other views them as lovers, by definition one views them as platonic and the other views them as romantic/sexual. Thats all I’m trying to say by that. But that’s why this is usually a bit of an awkward conversation. But I respect your opinions even if we disagree.

I remember seeing jokes about how the five kage were terrified when they encountered Madara's true Susanoo. But when Hashirama sees Madara put the Susanoo around the Nine-Tails, he's like "you crafy fox :)". It's all I can think about every time I see this episode.

How is he racist? Have you not seen the things the Uchiha have done? Who have been some of the biggest “villains” in Naruto? Sasuke, “Itachi”, Madara and Obito. Not to mention the Uchiha being made the police force genuinely makes sense due to their eye powers. The only others would be Byakugan users. People really need to really pay attention to wordings and situations. It’s like comprehension doesn’t exist anymore lol.
