so much happened!! obito being taken over by zetsu, madara being revived, NARUTO AND SASUKE ON THE BRINK OF DEATH???? they've done a great job at making me stressed :') i am so happy to see gaara work with shukaku too. everytime i think we've seen the last of gaara and how great he is, he comes back and i start to love him even more!!

When Madara said his subordinate's comrade, he was talking about Kabuto because he's the one who attached more of Hashirama's cells to his reanimated body, remember Kabuto saying his reanimation was special because of this, that's why he also said he brought Madara back better than when he was in his prime. He has more of Hashirama's cells attached to his body now

Honestly I’ve never looked into what madaras comment about sasuke eyes means I always took it like this: sasuke mangekyo is one of the few that don’t have the “comma” like design in his mangekyo, itachis look like a thicker regular sharingan with the lines at the end curving. But sasuke MS and EMS both don’t have any curves they have straight lines coming out of the iris and don’t have any “swirl” to it. So I guess that’s rare

Rant: you didn’t think you’d see Shukaku and Gaara together like this especially after all the shit Shukaku put Gaara through but it is still incredible to see. Man the call back of Obito saying he understands why Nagato did what he did and he wants to do the same, and him saying you could say that Jiraiya was the one who beat him I remember seeing this scene years ago and just saying damn….the connections are insane buuuuttttt in comes dumbass Zetsu yo ruin it damn Cockroach I tail you that. Madara saying thank you Naruto damn you got the tailed beast for me lmao the disrespect and him saying so this is sage jutsu chakra easy enough to control like HUUHHH….Do you realize how hard it is to master that shit even Jiraiya couldn’t, but Naruto was able to and madara took it even further to master it even faster then Naruto like bruuuuuhhhhh he’s like that🤣🤣. Yes madara doesn’t have his eyes anymore since he is alive again his actual eyes were given to Nagato that obito has now. You can say that reanimation Madara basically technically had soul versions of his eyes. And yes Obito’s life is more COOKED. Madara just Aura farming one of the originals. Seeing the first person who was with Shukaku and him being a monk with Gaara’s tattoos on his hand is very peak the way they did that small detail of where Gaara’s forehead tattoo came from and the story with the monk is just sad….Madara taking all of the tailed beast like it’s nothing compared to the Akatsuki taking yearssssss to do it is just still wild to me. Ah yesss both Naruto and Sasuke on the brink of death at the same time Kishimoto always loves the parallels of them. Also Madara used the same line as Hashirama used even if it’s my friend, sibling, or even mine own child that I would need to take down to protect the village except in this case to achieve the infinite tsukoyomi. This is what they call a true ending….always loved that line from Madara it’s so cold. Ok that was a long ass rant forgive me for geeking out and being a weeb🤣🤣

From my understanding, Shikaku was supposed to be the spirit of an angry monk in OG Naruto. So they had to have this scene where "they don't even call you by your real name anymore" to help with the "Shikaku is now a tailed beast" retcon. That way, the story can retroactively argue "oh, we were just talking about the jinchuriki", when that concept clearly hadn't been invented yet.

"Be they my friend or my brother or even my child...." Literally Hashirama when he ran his sword through Madara's back. Most would say Madara is quoting Hashirama, but I see it the other way around. Madara first acted on the same, if not similar, sentiment when he chose to cut things off with Hashirama when he gained Sharingan. Even if it meant fighting and killing his friend and abandoning his childhood dream he would act as UCHIHA Madara and fight to protect his brother and clan. Hashirama gave him plenty of opportunity to end the clan strife before it resulted in the death of their brothers. The irony that his commitment to this choice resulted in Izana's death is not lost on him. No wonder he tells Hashirama the choice leads to darkness. He's lived it. And given that choice is essentially the same brand of "will of fire" Itachi (sans the brother part) lived by, I guess it means just like Sasuke is like Izana, Itachi is like Madara??? (I did not start writing this thinking I'd arrive to this last bit)

This is such a minor thing, but I have noticed this with EVERY reactor. You are the ONLY one I have seen include the starting scene where Hashirama says "Good timing, son of the Fourth!". Every other reactor cut that out lol, means nothing, but I've always wondered why that is haha. EDIT: I also decided to look into the Choku Tomoe thing, its super cool! I don't believe this is a spoiler, since it isn't mentioned ever again lol, but apparently Mangekyou patterns that have straight edges and lines leads to more fluid movement and stronger taijutsu/physical attacks while "curved" patterns like Itachi or Shisui's is more Genjutsu or other strategic techniques. That's cool as hell lol, sorry for the long message.

Madara using Rinnegan abilities without the Rinnegan is where his entire character lost me. It was always obvious that Kishimoto was obsessed with the Uchiha but this kind of crap just became so stupid.

That is indeed what Madara is referring to. Both he and Sasuke are the only ones he's aware of that have the straight tomoe design in their EMS, though Madara only got his after taking Izuna's eyes, which has a straight tomoe MS pattern. Madara was blind at the time he made the comment, so he must've been able to sense it via Sasuke's chakra... Which is especially interesting when you think back to his and Naruto's first post-timeskip reunion, and Kurama commenting that their chakras have a very similar feel.

A lot of ppl take Madaras quirks like laughing after licking his wounds or messing with Tobirama as aura farming but I think it’s sad that war is all he knows. Same with Obito and the tailed beasts being pawns no matter what side they’re on or after barely getting a few minutes of freedom/mental clarity, they’re not even allowed to die to escape their chains. Sad all around.

Haven't even watched this yet, but BIG POPS MADARA IS HERE! MY ULTIMATE VILLAIN! Honestly what a switch up. He was patient, waiting, calm about his plan and then BOOM! He's putting people in tough situations everywhere, what a villain.

With Madara's eyes, he was a reanimation and when he came back to life, his two real eyes weren't with him, he gave them to Nagato, then Obito took them, but he only implanted one eye, the other was too much for him. It seems like when he came back to life, he was given his body at his peak, like the Reanimation Jutsu did, but technically Madara died with no eyes in his sockets (he had one normal sharingan that wasn't his when he was an old man). So technically his two Rinnegan are still out there. One being used by Obito, and the other is somewhere else and Zetsu brings it.

think u mean the MS not the rinnegan...... and I'm pretty sure the explanation for this was Once a user awakens the Mangekyō Sharingan in both eyes, Susanoo becomes an unlocked chakra power stored in their spirit and brain, not an active jutsu requiring physical lenses

Rewatching this stretch of episodes years later, I still don't get the hype. Edo Madara went from being defeated by Hashirama and being almost sealed to defeating him in seconds as soon as he was revived and soloing the tailed beasts. He was even able to use Susano without his eyes. I know fans had to invent headcanon how he did it. Kishimoto never explained it.
