happy friday everyone! it's kinda insane to see how people treated awakening a sharingan. "hey you witnessed this horrific event and experienced a boatload of grief? congrats you're gonna be a great asset to the clan😍" seeing more of shisui was SO WONDERFUL though. he really seemed to be one of the only ones who understood itachi aaaaaa 🥺

Peak Rant: Itachi really stared at Izumi and was like sooooo can I have your eyes girlypop?? Izumi really was like naaaaah but I’ll pray for your sharingan. That interaction was always wild and kinda fucked to me but also kinda heartwarming in a weird way. The moment with Fugaiku and Itachi walking together man it’s heartwarming honestly oh and the cat mission still hilarious. Still craaaazy to me how Obito kinda is the one who killed his friend and in turn that’s how he awakened the base Sharingan, years later that’s still wild to me and they ended up working together later on too think about that. Yeah his dad saying that shit to him when his friend literally died….like dad now’s not the time. That was definitely one of the most I where I didn’t like his dad. Shisui teaching Itachi to be even more op will never not be peak and then bonding with each other is always so beautiful because yeah Shisui was one of Itachi’s lights in his dark world. He wasn’t just Itachi’s best friend he was literally like a damn older brother to him. Others even saw them as brothers, the fight of Shisui and Itachi vs the Abby is still so damn good. Shisui carrying Itachi on his back just like Itachi did for Sasuke. 🫡😭

This is my 6th time (omg i know) watching this show, but I had never watched these Itachi and Kakashi mini-arcs... I think this last ep, 454, is one of my new favourites! Being able to see Itachi when he was younger and get the context for everything he did in the og series and sequel adds an extra layer of heartbreak. I remember watching the sasuke vs. itachi fight for the first time and not being able to control my tears because of everything that had happened to that point, and then the later revelation broke me again. Itachi is one of my favourite characters, so it's really beautiful to be able to see him with a "personality" and with so many voicelines in this mini-arc. I almost wish it came after we knew the truth about him and not at the end of the war arc!

Jumped straight to a two tomoe sharingan, skipped the single; he was hurting emotionally pretty bad with the combination of his teammates dying and the thought of what his little brother might face.

Look itachi has a few moments of happiness but his life is nothing but misery and in the light novels for itachi which are cannon they go in more detail about this time period

I love how you changed the name to HCM to skirt around the recent problems :)) If you ever do Bleach, be sure to name it Black(that was the author's initial idea for the series name)
