SCART could carry lots of different signals not just RGB . You had to be careful to buy the right cables back then . Even progressive scan ( admittedly in a really weird way ) . Those french boffins were really on to something. I Think the TV buying culture was very different in the UK than the US . People used to save up to buy the latest kit far more regularly it seems than you guys . So many gigantic wide “flatscreen “ CRTs , great days .

I'm gonna rejoin the discord if y'all are talking about CRTs. My collection is way too big, would be nice to get more Nextlanders into tubes.

I have those sleep issues you guys are talking about and I think having a dog now has been a good in between for me where I have some tolerance for screwing that up because the dog can wait a little bit if he has to but knowing I have to be up and have to get this guy out to the bathroom. I like to think it is priming me for the even earlier and more necessary interaction of children. It's honestly really hard when you don't have the sleep schedule everyone else does, though.
