I should have made an ongoing list of all the threads I've ever wondered about concluding. But at this point, there's so many I've probably already forgotten it's not worth it anymore. But after showing James in episode 1, I would have circled James finally appearing again 14 episodes later and written "so we are doing something with him?!?!" next to it.

when episode 14 aired in particular i remember being so full of anticipation to see where the hell this was going.. on rewatch i love the dreamy calm-before-the-storm vibes as high strangeness kicks in for Hawk & co. a real weird one but also some good breadcrumbs

So excited for this ep as always, but also sad that this will finally be coming to an end soon.

Speaking of glitches. Something that I've seen talked about on episode explainer videos (Game Spot's to be specific) - released after the airing of each episode - is glitches. One appears when Hastings' wife is shot by Mr C. Another is a doorknob on a door that looks like two overlapping physics objects quickly glitching in one object. Couldn't find that last one but it is in that Game Spot review.

oh, wanted to mention also the long scene where Sarah Palmer is watching the loop of that boxing match. one boxer is wearing white trunks and one is wearing black, and it keeps resetting to "starting positions" if you will, with that glitchy audio cue. if you want to make that connection to Mr. C's speech during the arm wrestling match and the greater struggle of good and evil going on, idk

There is a ton of glitches throughout the season. Don’t know the reasoning or if it is intended but yeah there is a lot exactly like this. Very strange.

Was Gordon having a dream about being David Lynch?
