As an adult with ADHD who works from home, who has an 11 year old kid obsessed with roller coasters and an actress wife who does commercials… I feel like this episode was weirdly targeted at me.

For the record Flo makes about $2mil per year.

Also, most commercials pay for shit these days. 80% of commercials shoot non-union anymore and commercials that would have paid 60-100k just ten years ago pay 1,000 with no residuals. You have to book that Flo-type job to make a living anymore

The Jumble is underrated.

Ok, y’all are officially old now. All that crossword talk had me having flashbacks to my maternal grandmother complaining, post retirement, about the NYT crosswords and how ouch and such local paper from X region was better. Also, Abby is 100% correct about how supervisors should be able to provide feedback. In my 30 odd years of being a part of the work force, I have had precisely one that did more than “good job” or “you fucked up.” I actually knew where I needed to improve and what my strengths were from his feedback and that was the best I have ever done in my current career. Gods I wish he didn’t have to retire.

Not a crossword person (though maybe I'll start cause my brain lately yikes) but you have perfectly described Jeopardy clues. People think they can ask you about anything, and while that might be technically true regular viewers know the categories and styles of prompts so well that you can become good at Jeopardy without getting much better at other quiz shows.

“Who is calling a showboat a hotdog?” I asked the same thing this morning when watching the 1986 My Little Pony Movie with my niece, and they called one of the ponies a Hotdog for being a show off. So, to answer your question, Abby, horses do.
