The Battle Aces news made me think of Brad's stream. I could've watched him play it all day. What a bummer, man.

As an Englishman- twat is widely used and its effectiveness is married to tone. Someone dropped a mug ‘oh you twat!’ Someone steals your ideas ‘what a twat!!’ hope this helps!

Also it’s pronounced like cat not swot

I heard someone on the Giant Bombcast suggest The Green Knight as a template for an Elden Ring movie. Warfare was released in April. It was co-directed by Ray Mendoza, one of the U.S. Navy SEALs depicted in the movie, and Garland said he mainly let Mendoza take charge of it. I thought it was very well-made. Civil War I didn't hate, but what isn't good is I have been frequently thinking back to it these first few months of Trump's second term.

We should be careful not to act like that the economy was always good or better in the past, just because of current craziness. There were severe recessions in the 80s, early 90s and late 00s. Games only being $60 in 2009 wasn’t much comfort for the 10% of workers who were unemployed.

For cars that fit tall people i found the Ioniq5 is super nice. I own it, it's fully eletric though at 6.0 I don't hit the ceiling and people in the back have plenty of room it's a CRV size too

Vinny, a crossover sounds like what you’d want. There are EV versions. Hyundai Ioniq, Kia Niro, Kia EV, Volvo EX.

Thebagel1

That car parking story alex told is fucking awesome 🤣🤣🤣

Peter Hire

Yeah, I'm not sure where the negative buzz about Warfare that Alex mentioned is coming from, overall it seems to have been pretty well received. Saw it a month ago, I went in thinking it might be an interesting thing, came out of the theater kind of numb, with a lot to think about.

I purchased a 2025 Toyota Camry last July. I was looking for used 2022-2024, however the new price was only about 3k more then a used with the full warranty. Needless to say, the crossover hybrid will run you into the 40's with safety options. The Camry being a Sedan was cheaper overall with all the safety options. The cross traffic alert has already saved my life twice now. If you can, I would test drive a few before you buy. I was so tempted to purchase a Hyundai Sonata, test drove it and the cabin noise with the road almost rattled my teeth out.

Will Atkinson

There is a Rav 4 plug in hybrid. My parents have one. It's a neat vehicle.

I'm pretty hopeful about Garland's Elden Ring. He's such a talented director and screenwriter. Warfare was fantastic and I actually thought Civil War was a decent and surprisingly meditative film. He put his own spin on Annihilation and that turned out to be excellent. He's proven to deliver in multiple genres, he's worked on video games and I've heard him mention his love for Elden Ring in the past. I also like A24s track record. I think it could easily work out.

I feel your check engine light pain, had a mini panic attack cause i had mine come on again! My insurance paid for warranty maintenance on my hyundai veloster last year and it felt like the exact same issues, which meant 3 weeks of finding a car/no car again. Thankfully it was just corroded spark plugs this time and i happily paid for them to give me my car back in an hour.

Jarlaxle

I had never played a Takahashi game before Wattam, but I also said “what the fuck am I looking at” when firing that one up for the first time lol. Love that game too, though.

Blacklab

Alex shits on Alex Garland and is badass (eyeroll)
