I think Factorio deserves a spot. It kicked off the factory game genre in a major way and is consistently one of the highest rated and most played on Steam. It ends up influencing Satisfactory, Shapez, Mindustry, and Captain of Industry, off the top of my head. Binding of Isaac. I think an argument can be made that the rogue-like/rogue-lite started officially with the original Flash version, and then BoI: Rebirth came out and that's a much better game, but we wouldn't have that without the OG. Stardew Valley. This is the GOAT of farming games. It took what Harvest Moon did and really perfected the formula and started the farming sim genre on PC's. None existed before Stardew. It is currently the highest rated game on Steam according to Steam250. Many have tried to copy it but Stardew is still the king of the genre. Dwarf Fortress maybe?

Love the random Zak and wiki shout out shit is so good

Love the appreciation for Pyre, the story hits hard and the basketball is fun.

The ones I would have and few to nobody would: Ace Combat 5 Valkeria Chronicles Final Fantasy Tactics Advanced Ultimate Admiral Dreadnoughts Rise of Nations Pokemon Emerald Another problem is the games that I played the heck out of, but mainly liked due to modding. Unreal Tournament 2004 and Skyrim are all time favorites of mine, but only after extensive modding. I wonder if mods would count too?
