FYI Vinny the earthquake method you're referring to is called the Triangle of Safety and it is debunked as not effective or safe. I found this out when my friend told me recently and had thought it was the thing to do all my life growing up in a major earthquake zone on the West Coast of Canada.

Dont worry if it feels self indulgent to walk down memory lane a bit, I was a huge fan of early gamespot and kept up with games coverage throughout and so hearing about that stuff is great!

That Giant Bomb magazine Brad has is something I made and gave out at the PAX Prime after Ryan passed. I tracked you all down as you were getting dinner across from the convention center and everyone at the table got a copy, as did a bunch of friends of the site. I have polaroid pictures of folks cracking open the magazine and making faces. :) If y'all ever want to make a NXL zine, give me a holler.
