I recommend using a youtube browser plugin, you can set it that it opens shorts as desktop videos so you can scrub through them Edit: The one I use is "Enhancer for YouTube"

Im a sports guy and the betting integration is still jarring and a bummer to me. It has been a sudden shift. Not only is it toxic, but you get betting analysis instead of actual analysis of the game and players.

If you are pondering youtube premium just get a family sub its 22 dollars and you can have 5 accounts added, work expence perhaps? Also something that lets you remove all the annoying youtube functionality like comments explore mixes recommendations etc etc is the extension "unhook". Available for any firefox or chrome based browser. My youtube experience is literally my sub page a search field and what ever video I click on with nothing but a playlist if you are watching the video via a playlist.

I hate to be that guy, and maybe you all can't say it because YouTube might ban your account, but UBlock Origin + Firefox = no ads ever on YouTube. After YouTube banned my account with a claim so ridiculous that I had to hire a fucking lawyer to get it back, I vowed never to give them money ever again.

Well, this is annoying. My Youtube seems to be messing up. Clicking any embedded videos gives me an error about logging in, but won't let me do anything. Does anyone have a direct link to the unlisted video version of the podcast they could share? Thanks. EDIT: Nevermind! I forgot I still had a VPN turned on. Problem solved. Haha!

I know I'm 3 months late to this but Brad, if you liked having that commercial free YouTube experience but don't want to pay Google anything. Check out Nebula. Its creator owned and a lot of them put their video's up there before they put them up on YouTube. Its pretty must all the video essay and educational types that you probably already follow on there. And the money goes to them.
