I feel Battle Of The Planets may have been late 70's, but that has the hardest nostalgia hit for me. Aired in the 80's in Aus

Vinny, re: Silent Hill f, the most impactful and best new material is actually in NG++ (going for the True Ending). It basically has the payoff for all of the relationships in the game (Hinako with her mom, sister, father, etc). I think it was a mistake for the devs to hide literally the best scenes in the entire game behind the NG++ run, since probably 80% of players will never see it, but even if you don't do the 3rd playthrough I'd encourage you to look up the new cutscenes for the True Ending (don't just look up the ending, the best stuff is actually before the ending in Hinako's house in NG++).

I liked Silent Hill F after finishing it once, after going through all of the endings I love it. The way the endings build on top of each other and slowly more revelations are revealed works so well. One of the best NG+ I have ever experienced.

So there are basically two "locked in" points on NG+ for determining which ending you get. First is if you haven't taken any pills, (being vague) when you reach a ~60% point there is a scene that changes where Hinako will basically reject the pills and pillbox and makes an ending 1 vs endings 2-4 branch. The next branch is when Hinako returns to her house, that's when the other 2, 3, or 4 conditions will get locked in. And THAT is where there are a lot of the unique NG+ changes with different cut scenes and different puzzle solutions in Hinako's house beyond the puzzle difficulty changes. And as others have stated, NG++ builds further upon the scenes you get in NG+.

And if you're achievement hunting, I'd suggest saving the Lost in the Fog combat difficulty run until you've maxed your stats and have bought up the omamori available at the shrines. You won't have to worry about "I need to collect this just to sell it" at that point and can get omamori loadouts that mitigate the combat challenges. I'd even suggest having that be an Ending 1 path since there are also achievements related to doing specific things in each ending's boss fights.

Ex Titanfall 2 devs, people love Titanfall 2 and it is literally some Bloodborne level status. Best I can do is a competitive PvP hero shooter. Everytime. People are sick of it and want the real thing.

Sledgehammers have definitely been taken to Trump's star. The visual censoring in Dispatch is black bars, which is pretty funny for that fight in the first episode (only peen I've seen in the game). The black bars are also censor middle fingers.

Just wanted to let Vinny know I caught the Jim Downey “The New York financier?” reference he made towards the end of the news section in the podcast. ;) That bit is an all-timer. “I’m pretty sure…with respect…if there was some news about Jeff Epstein I would’ve heard.”

Vincent Aguilar

Agreed, just got the true ending on Sunday and while I kinda felt like the first half of my NG+ run dragged a bit it was otherwise a great experience (plus my NG++ run took like three hours). Elevated the game from “pretty good” to “great” to me.

Save you guys some time. It’s Ulysses 31!
