It's question time again! This month we field Qs about what led us to cover games professionally, joining a band when you're older, exotic consoles we never owned, our business plans and some upcoming potential opportunities, and, finally: where's the beef?

Guys, as fans we want you to make a living doing what you love to do. If Sponsorships are the way to make the business work then dont shy away from it. Video game media has always had a symbiotic relationship with marketing and advertising. I know personally I wouldn't think any less of you for providing for yourselves and your families

I second and third this i rather have you guys sponsored and around then not have you guys around at all.

Debbie Harry was on the Muppets in 1980 when she was 35. A bit older than Sabrina Carpenter is now, but still in her prime.

For the guy asking about booking shows, the answer is Instagram. I hate Instagram but that’s where it happens. My kid has a band here in L.A. and I was asking the same questions you are just last year. A guy from a fairly successful local hardcore band told me Instagram was a must if my kid wanted to book shows. We made an account for the band, posted a few clips and within a couple weeks they had their first show. They get out and play shows all the time now. And they’re only in 8th grade, so they can’t even play all the 21+ venues out there. @StillDecidingBand on IG.

Oh Also… I was an extra on Jack and Jill and I ruined a take when my phone went off, playing the opening strains of Bad Religion’s “American Jesus” which was my ringtone at the time. Adam Sandler patted me on the shoulder and said “Nice Work Buddy”
