My boyfriend and I have lived together since covid and we've never slept in the same room voluntarily. I'm extremely tall, he is not. He's a night owl, I'm a morning person. I have pain-related issues with sleep, he doesn't. It just makes sense for us! Also, while DARE sucks, you'd all be surprised how often older elementary school kids get into drugs. I vividly remember huffing being a big problem in my school with FIFTH graders, and we had some anti-drug group speak at our school once and they were like "I can tell some of you kids are already drinking and doing drugs harder than weed" and, yeah, he ended up being right. You'd be shocked how young kids can get into hardcore drugs. Or maybe it's just cuz I'm from Ohio.

Everybody’s relationship with their significant other is different, for certain. I think it’s interesting that people consider the actual bedroom/sleeping part so different when we think about having our “separate spaces”
