Alex whispering "Can't Stop...Can't Stop" was hilarious!!!

It does seem like they are making the Desmond story and the other modern day stuff before origins an alternate reality and that origins basically reset that because of the person going back in time and changing their ancestors actions. Sadly, I don’t think we’re gonna see where they want this to go because Ubisoft is so poorly managed at this point. Selling 2 million copies of a game with micro transactions then laying off dozens of employees in the same week doesn’t inspire confidence in the franchise. Even the assassin creed infinite project is seen in the time line when you launch the game but it doesn’t allow you to launch any of the other games and isn’t even a good execution of showing you memories from those ancestors

Ok, I didn’t see the new Evil Dead, but I find it VERY hard to believe that it’s more disturbing than Martyrs.

When my daughter was little, like around 7, she learned about zombies from somewhere and asked me “are there really people out there that eat other people?” and I said something to the effect of “well, zombies aren’t real, but cannibalism exists I guess. Only a very, very small amount of people are cannibals, though” and it fucked her up for like a year. She was constantly worried about cannibals. I have no idea why I told her that.

My parents were the kind of parents to just take me to see a movie so they didn’t have to get a babysitter. I don’t remember it happening a ton but I definitely saw plenty of movies I shouldn’t have been seeing at the time… The biggest standouts were Sling Blade and Bordello of Blood. I was 6. Sling Blade I was able to watch until Billy Bob killed the guy at the end, Bordello though…I was terrified and didn’t want to be in there, so since the theater was in a mall my parents let me walk around the mall until they were done. Again, I was 6. What a time!

I hate how logical it is for Musk to buy Xbox. God help us all! 🤣

Regarding what Vinny said about devs not being able to talk about what they have worked on. One of my friends is employed at *studio that shall remain nameless for his safety* and has been for 12 years. He doesn't have a single game to show for it yet though as they have all been cancelled before even getting announced. He's been dealing with survivors guilt every damn time layoffs happen too. Been telling him to get the hell out for ages. He and other devs deserve so much better than what the current industry is.

I don't have kids but for some reason love hearing the guys experiences as parents (and Alex as Uncle) and the decisions they all make. The Nextlander reddit mod, Sworedmagic banned me for no reason so I can reply there, however their inability to understand it's up to the parents to know what their child can and can't handle is astounding, Patrick purposefully picked a time and seating where he knew they wouldn't be disturbing anyone, he guided her through it, and they had a good time, what's wrong with any of that? Anyways, great episode as always!
