This week is mostly a long planning/spitballing session for our upcoming month of horror movies on the Watchcast, with a detour into some of the things we're getting up to this week, including book shelves, the FlippyDrive, and the beach.

What do I have to do to make sure the guys watch Noroi????

Sawyer Hildebrandt

Wait, I changed my mind, they have to watch Possessor

You should definitely watch “one cut of the dead” - it’s a blast and would make a very fun discussion.

Hellraiser.! We've had Alex quote and reference the film over many years from GB and here. Now seems the time with the game coming out as well. Personally I think Hellraiser, The Fly, Blair Witch and Near Dark. S&M, Sci-Fi horror, found footage and Das Vampire! Just my 2 cents worth. Selfishly I'd like them to watch hellbound Hellraiser 2 as well as I see them as a pair. The only 2 of worth in the series imo.

I like the idea of horror comedies for whatever reason. Like maybe a true comedy like a Shaun of the Dead, maybe campy stuff like Rocky Horror, maybe a spoof like a Young Frankenstein, maybe something that makes you say “Dude, what even is this movie?”
