I was just opening this doc to write it up when I noticed my streaming laptop had blue screened. When I went to reboot it would just go right into the bios. Eventually, it got into Windows after a system recovery BUT I am bringing it up because that whole fun experience took up the time I usually spend thinking about what to write here. So now, it has served a great purpose and I can talk about building my bookshelves next week.

We definitely got bit by the Valheim bug a bit, so much so that I made a server and we’re going to try it out this week in our big return to Valheim 1.0. On Tuesday, we’re hoping to finish up The Incident at Galley House, or at least get the main bits finished up, because we’re making room for Fright or Sh*te (Six Crazy Frights)! That’s right, Abby has a list of games and we’ll be doing the first episode this Friday. After that, they will be on Tuesday’s, but for this week it gets that sweet Friday slot.

We’ll be holding our Patron’s Choice poll this week but the actual stream will be next Friday (10/02) so make a note!

Over in Podcast Land we’ve got Star Trek continuing on The Watchcast until we hit October for our switch into our next themed month. You know, the spooky movies! We’ll have the Ramblecast and Podcast as usual, plus we’ll have Patron Q&A happening this Thursday, so get your questions in on the Discord soon!

The Nextlander Watchcast
This week’s Watchcast features a famous (or infamous) episode from Star Trek’s later run in the blunt-as-a-hammer racism parable Let That Be Your Last Battlefield. Also this week is The Mark of Gideon, which is an episode of Star Trek, and that’s about the most you can say for it.
