I know this will be an unpopular thing to say but I thought Freejack was a much more enjoyable watch than In the Mouth of Madness, which sits at the bottom of my ranked list and nothing has come remotely close for me.

Rewatching this in the context of Nextlander, I couldn't help but think with the wild swings of settings how this could be from an FMV adventure game. Shotgun nun, motorcycle escape after Brad's betrayal, wine truck sequence, spiritual switchboard, etc. Very Burn:Cycle. I also feel like Johnny Mnemonic will have the same vibes with the disparate places it goes (and yes, I know a Johnny Mnemonic FMV game does exist)

The How Did This Get Made podcast episode about this movie is also great.
