Live action Zelda should have been made in the late 80’s but instead we just have Legend with Tom cruise.

Something about the semi unstructured approach to this weeks podcast, was really satisfying. Can’t really describe it better, other than I enjoyed it.

Not a console, but my Gameboy DMG with Tetris hasnt left my nightstand since 1990, exept for a backlight mod.

The guy that plays Roy Kent on Ted Lasso should play Gandendorf

Taste is objective, etc. but man I can't imagine not liking salmon or finding it fishy. A good piece of salmon sashimi is downright buttery. 🤤

I hope they have my favorite character in the Legend of Zelda series, Error. 😆 For serious, they should Wind Waker story. Red King would be an awesome character to bounch off of. Definitely not Fi.

A number of retail stores are doing their Black Friday deals earlier this year because there are predictions that people won't be spending as much money this holiday season. Could be a similar case for video game releases.

You guys were talking about the oddity in tone of Talos Principle made by the Serious Sam people. They released a DLC for Talos (I forget if it was free or like just $1) that adds Serious Sam voice over replacement for the entire game. It also has a skin for the robot player that gives it Sam's sunglasses and puts the Serioius Sam bomb logo on it's chest.

I guess I may be the only other person here who finished AC: Mirage and may be the only human alive who got the platinum trophy. Here is my sage advice: Uh, don’t do that. If anything, Vinnie has a kinder opinion of the ending than I did. Mirage’s ending is worse and less satisfying than Revelations; a game in which ironically had no new plot revelations. At least that one had Ezio make a good speech about the creed and literally tell the concept of time to “take this job and shove it.” I won’t spoil the ending to Mirage, but not only does it use one of the most played out tropes in modern fiction, but does an almost a beat for beat recreation of probably the most significant example of the trope. It also acts like no one had done this trope before and the kicker is that I still don’t understand why that mattered. It’s okay if you need an old school AC fix since it is closer to the pre-Origin games, but it is still just a middling version of that. It’s better than Unity, I guess? I’m not even sure about that.

I liked Revelations as much as Brotherhood, and especially appreciated how it ended. I think it had a lame tower defense mode, but it was optional outside of one mandatory battle.

I'm shocked yall didn't cover the Escapist exodus.
