You'll need to sync up your own copy of the episode in order to watch along with me. Open 2 windows, one with the reaction and one with the video, then arrange them how you see fit!

I am Norwegian, sometimes it runs faster and to make it synced try to set the video to 0.95 speed. If it runs slower, set the video to 1.05 speed. Hope it helps! 💕

Patriots Day is a really good movie. I can't wait to watch. I highly recommend you watch Hotel Mumbai (2018). It's a movie about the Mumbai terrorist attack that took place on November 26, 2008. Another good watch is a movie called The Impossible (2012), which is about the 2004 Indian Ocean tsunami.

Mister Lou

yes!! I love this movie, when it comes to the 3 movies based on true events, with the same star, same director (Love Surviver, Deepwater Horizon and Patriots Day) This is my favourite! It just hits you.. like being "brained in the face by a smoothy!" LoL that opening scene lives rent free in my head. great reaction! I'm glad you took the time to watch it. keep up the good work!

- "Miranda" refers to a court case (Miranda Vs. State of Arizona) from 1966 where the US Supreme Court ruled that a suspect must be informed of their Constitutional right to remain silent and their Constitutional right to an attorney. This is the "You have the Right to remain Silent" speech that you hear in TV and movies. A separate case, Gideon v. Wainwright, established that an attorney must be provided at no charge to indigent defendants. - Mark Wahlberg's character was a composite of many police officers so that the audience would have one character to follow through the movie. All of the other characters are real people. - Mark Wahlberg grew up in Boston, so this was a special project for him. - Tsarnaev's parents never came to visit him before, during, or after the trial. The mother was wanted for an arrest warrant for attacking a woman, which is why they had fled back to Chechnya. If she came to visit, she would have been arrested for the assault and also for fleeing to avoid trial. Great parents, huh? - You often see in older movies and TV that criminals take a pistol from a police officer's holster. This is much more difficult now as shown when the brothers failed to steal the MIT officer's pistol. Instead of the old fashioned leather holster with a strap held by a simple snap, modern police holsters, called "retention holsters" are made of Kydex plastic and have a locking mechanism that prevents the pistol from being drawn unless a button or switch (or more than one) is pressed. Each company that makes the holsters uses a different system from other companies, so someone has to be familiar with that particular brand of holster in order to make it work. - When the SWAT team that went to the dorm room communicates with their HQ, the subtitles said "Talk". It is actually "T.O.C.C." or "TOCC" which stands for "Tactical Operations Command Center". - The Sandy Hook School Shooting in Newtown, Connecticut happened in early December 2012, a few months before the April 2013 Marathon Bombing. A mentally disturbed young man killed his mother while she was sleeping, took the key to her safe, and stole her guns. He had tried twice before to get into the school, but was stopped by security guards who had recognized him as a former student. The school principal never reported either incident to the police, so the Newtown Police never had a chance to talk to him to find out that he was dangerous or mentally disturbed. - When the interrogator is talking to the wife, you asked about what they were saying: "shaheed" means "martyr", referring to a man killed while fighting jihad against either non-muslims or another muslim sect (e.g. sunni vs shi'a) or murdering non-muslims or muslims from another sect in terrorist attacks, and "shaheeda" is the widow of a "shaheed".

You asked (36 minutes into the film) about any movies with the FBI. As far as real life events, I don't really know of any except J. Edgar (2011). But other movies I would recommend with the FBI are The Departed (2006), The Kingdom (2007), and Sicario (2015). All of them are really good movies.

I'm glad to finally see another reactor watch this movie. You are the second person next to TBR Schmitt to do a watch-along for this film and I hope more channels will put this movie on their schedules for the future.
