Okay...

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year ! As you can see I wasn't able to release the update this year. Too much time was stolen by missiles and drones. In total the electricity was off for half of December. Power problems caused by russians slow everything down, but I’m still working whenever I can.But I'll share the progress I've made so far and what to expect in this update. The most important things are 3 new ETC animations for Hugger and completely new enemy - Corpse Eater.

Animations for the new enemy are half way done and I plan to release 18 of them in upcoming update. And I'm not talking about movement/behavior animations.

As for the other less important stuff:

I'm working on making arenas optional so you will be able to explore freely. But you will be forced to clear arenas eventually or your world will be consumed by infection.

I've also merged loot rooms into optional arena feature. Now there are infection cores - shoot them to trigger arena, upon it completion you will be able to destroy the obelisk and extract the core. You can exchange cores for loot at the village. This system is more convenient than loot rooms as the core consumes only one slot in your inventory.

This new old man will explain everything about new arenas when update will be ready. He would also provide resources in exchange for cores.

I've also brought back new "old" character Sophie. She will provide you with quests.

There are many balance changes to make enemies more annoying to deal with - like improved dodges. More attack speed, better vision and hearing - all this stuff scales with infection level.

I'm also working on some QoL improvements. Now you can select equipment pieces in the workbench instead of circling them with "Change" button. Added stats display for equipped armor and underwear.

And as always bag fixes optimization and other technical things.

Happy New Year,

~Your Horny Horn.
