Development progress update (Patreon)

Okay

Finished working on Sofia’s quests.

After you complete Sofia’s quest, you’ll unlock the ability to collect collectibles across locations - they’ll be hidden… well, not really hidden, more like just lying around with no hints. These will be vinyl records that you can play on a gramophone, and when Judi listens to what’s playing, she regenerates faster.

Also, after Sofia’s quest, you’ll be able to read the Orphan’s Book, which contains the game’s lore. I’m currently working on it - both the lore itself and how it’s presented in the book. There will also be collectibles scattered across locations that you’ll need to find to unlock chapters of the Orphan’s Book and figure out what actually happened.

For now I’ve started with the Ukrainian localization for the lore, then I’ll move on to the English version.

I also finished with new Spitter’s appearance and reworked the "town" location - the one that was supposed to have a lot of houses. Now it actually has a lot of houses, and you can enter them. It’s a bit confusing to navigate, but it’s getting close to what I wanted.

Currently I’m also working on two repeatable quests that you can pick up from the board in the bar. They’ll be tied to that location.

I also made some changes to the enemy interaction mini-game - now if your stress drops, you don’t die instantly, instead, you start taking damage equal to 2% of your health. So it’s a bit easier than before, but I’ll revisit that mechanic in the next update.

And you’re probably wondering:

HORN! WHERE THE FUCK IS THE UPDATE???
