I'm trying to do 3D location triangulation with some ESP8266's.  Spoiler: I couldn't get it working.  But, I learned a lot along the way!  Join me to see some of the things I've found and enjoy the github repo.

Thanks, everyone for supporting my videos!!!  I really need to get back to some ColorChord.

(This video will go public tomorrow around 2PM EST if all goes well)

Trying to do 3D Localization using ESP8266's

Whelp, I tried. I had some successes. I can now send/receive arbitrary packets while connected to an AP! Also, I can intercept the interrupts to get the exact time of when many of these operations happen. This is really neat Charles, the idea of devices being able to roughly figure out where each other are is a problem that pops up all the time for me in robotics and IoT. Shame it didn't work out the way you hoped, but thanks for giving it a go.

I still think there's hope, but, my brain just doesn't work that way with this stuff... I'm hoping someone else gives it a shot.
