Hello! I haven't missed a Patreon reward in years, and I'm not starting now. So with a few hours left in August, here's your Playlist video for the month.

I mostly discuss Telling Lies, the new game from Her Story creator Sam Barlow. No spoilers, so it's good to listen to if you haven't tried the game yet. It's an interesting game and I'm curious to know what you think.

So please feel free to leave your reaction to the game in the comments below.

Love these videos. Forcing rogue-like elements into games that either don't need or don't even benefit from them seems rather lazy to me :/

If you really like Dicey Dungeons, it was primarily inspired by Dream Quest, which is also on Steam now. The art of that game was all done by the sole developer's child, so bear that in mind when you see the graphics. :P

Great stuff as always. Have you checked out Remedys new game "Control"? I was surprised how Metroidvania inspired it turned out to be.

It's hard to say without spoiling, but I kinda wish Tell Lies was about sorting out which videos were more important to the goal the person on the computer ended up having. The not being able to start videos from the beginning and the scrubbing through the videos made it feel longer then it actually was. I enjoyed it overall, but yeah, it did feel like a disappointment after Her Story.

Hello, mr. Brown. I know you're interested in immersive sims combined with adventure (like Hitman). There have been two games this year that fall into this category that have not been mentioned here as far as I know - 'The Occupation' and 'Elsinore'. I think they may be of interest to you. 'Elsinore' in particular is very recent and unusual.

Nice stuff! Thank you for sharing <3

Could these videos be put into an unlisted playlist on tour youtube channel? Much easier than trying to scroll and find them all here!
