Hey! I feel bad when I talk about GMT stuff on Twitter and not on here. So here ya go - OOT dungeon design analysis coming tomorrow. I'd put it out now but my internet's garbage and it takes like 12 hours to upload a gigabyte video.

I played and finished Song of the Deep. That's fun. It's Insomniac's Metroidvania, which is a genre that you know I love. This one is very unambitious - it's basically just Aquaria, with a bit of Insanely Twisted Shadow Planet. But I liked it. Nice way to spend a weekend.

Hey Mark, been away from twitter these past few hours so I don't know if you made a comment about this or not: Have you played the Federation Force Demo that released today? What are your thoughts?

No problem! I have not played it. I don't really have much interest in it because, let's be honest, it's not really a Metroid game. But I'll probably get to it at some point. I did play Blitz Ball ages ago at some event and that was kinda fun. How about you?

Yeah, I played a few rounds and it was better than I thought it would be... If this gamplay turns out to be in the main game, I think it'll be a good one (since I didn't play Metroid Prime yet, I think of it as being just a Metroid-skinned game). But I'm worried of being too much like Triforce Heroes in the sense of: you have a party of people that goes into missions (or dungeons) and fight enemies and solve puzzles but each of one can only take one special weapon. But I'm sure it'll appeal to different audiences...
