Hey Patrons!

For this month's bonus video, I wanted to try something a bit more conversational. A chatty video where I talk about the games I've been playing. Which means it's a bit like the old Playlist videos I used to make... but with more waffle and 5 times longer. Whoops!

Lemme know what you think!

As always, great video. However I want to speak my mind on the Justin Roiland thing. First of all I do not condone domestic abuse in any form, but even though the trial hasn't even begun everyone on the internet seems to have already judged him guilty. I think especially as an influencer one should adhere to the "innocent until proven guilty" principle.

Hi Mark - If you're reading this, our parasocial relationship has now become a (sort of) social relationship, thus meaning I've thwarted your grand plan. In all seriousness, thanks for the video! I can't wait to try out Golden Idol, the first ever Dinn-like game.

Cool hearing you go back to the Banjo games, they were a staple of my childhood. I prefer Kazooie as well, I haven't gone back to Tooie in years because of how large it is. All the levels in Kazooie feel just right. I find BK easier to control than Mario in 64 too for some reason, so it's my go to game from that era.

Great to see a Playlist-style video back, it was my favorite part of the GMTK Patreon before!

I really liked this format, BUT when you're talking about the game sound or stuff that happens in the game, it would be great to cut the narration a bit and actually hear the game for a moment. I use these to pick what kind of games to buy, so getting a quick feel for the game would be cool

Enjoying these vids again Mark, always helps me highlight games I might have missed. On the flipside I quite enjoyed High on Life, it was short so the repetitive combat wasn't too much of a drain and despite the admittedly annoying characters I actually found it fairly entertaining. I guess like R&M a fair bit helps. I'm enjoying HIFI Rush but God is the main character annoying, feels overly naive and frustrating which conflicts with how great you can feel after mastering some of the combat encounters. Fun game though, think I'll see it through.

Hi-fi Rush came out of nowhere... and is so much fun! I only got to play a couple hours before my Game Pass expired 🥺
