Requirements

BeamNG.drive 0.39.x

Windows

GPU with 4GB VRAM and Vulkan support

Installation

Unzip the file you downloaded

Inside, the folder that says "PUT ME IN THE GAME DIRECTORY" should be put in your game install directory. If you want to confirm you did this correctly then check if a VolumetricsData folder exists in the same folder as Bin64/BeamNG.Drive.exe

Then, install the zip inside "PUT ME IN THE MODS FOLDER" as a regular mod.

Launch the game with Vulkan

If installed correctly, the mod menu will be in the pause menu as a tab called "Volumetrics"

To get logs press Win+R, type %TEMP%, then look for fogSunShadow_xxx.log, volumetricsxxxx.log, as well as beamng.log in your user folder.
