Home Prisoner: Development Progress #4 (Patreon)
Content
Greetings, Home Prisoners!
We are nearing completion of the graphical aspects of this update. Originally, we had planned to complete all the animations and renders by the end of this month, but we've decided to expand a scene that we're currently working on. This will require a few more days. Often during the process, new ideas emerge, and there's a desire to showcase things from additional angles.
Additionally, we've decided to add one more mini-scene to the Episode 2. This scene will likely be released shortly after the next update, along with fixes for all the errors in the second episode that will be discovered.
I'd also like to remind you that we have a little time left before the voting ends for the "experimental enhancement" of some renders. At the moment, the votes are divided as follows:
In total, 15 patrons have voted for the option "Preserve the original rendering style."
2 patrons with x2 voting power.
5 patrons with x3 voting power.
19 patrons have voted for the option "Support the new rendering adjustments."
4 patrons with x2 voting power.
5 patrons with x3 voting power.
Total:
Preserve the original rendering style – 27 votes
Support the new rendering adjustments – 33 votes
As you can see, the outcome has significantly shifted towards the second option. Nevertheless, despite this, each voting participant can still change their decision. We'd be happy to assist you with the final verdict by sharing a couple more example images:
Thus, we've seen nearly all the images that have undergone changes, and I believe this is good news for those who didn't quite like these edits, as they're just a small portion of all the images. The main part of the images will remain canonical, at least until our hands reach them :) The time will come, and we'll try again, but this time, we'll take your observations into account.
