Background images work (Patreon)

Sorry it's been a bit quiet the last week and a bit.

Still (evidently) working on background images for Ana's route. Thought I'd share the latest 3D renders I'm working with.

Part of me is very tempted to solely do the backgrounds in 3D and just use some fancy rendering technique to make it look more like drawing, but then I think about things like thatch and I remember not everything is easier in 3D...

The latter two images are from the tóċirhús, one looking out over the garden from the béam, the other from the washroom.

One benefit of having now built these spaces to scale is I realise how many rooms and beds could fit in the tóċirhús, which has in turn made me think about sleeping arrangements for the full cast.

All in all, there will be 17 living and sleeping in this place (with potentially at least two more joining much later in the story).

So, going through the list of newcomers not yet assigned rooms:

To not put too finer point on it, with only five spare rooms, folks are going to need to share. For plot relevant reasons, I want to stick all the children in one room, guest room 4 to be precise. Which leaves us with five adults and four rooms. I reckon it'd be fun to have the MC share with someone, and for that someone to be down to either the MC's gender, or player choice, or a mix of both.

The MC would be sharing with one of the other wanderers, just to be clear.

I might take Aranor out of the sharing pool unless the MC fulfils certain parameters, again for plot relevant reasons...
