1 communicates the story the best, if not for the first comic it would be harder to get a full grasp of the story in the others.

I really love #1. the character design is nice, they look similar to each other but still have distinctions in face and body. there's a great variety of facial expressions just in that one page, and the aesthetic for coloring/shading/rendering is really nice has a warmer tone. i also think the page layout is really nice.

I really like #1's the best overall! It communicates the story better with the same real estate (page space), the color work is really good, the line weight is easy on the eyes, the expressions are readable and varied, and the pose/character compositions are well placed (like things or body parts falling outside of the comic panels without looking too 'dramatic', and what not). I also would like to chime in and say I would have loved to see #2's work of the comic page in the style of the sketch art shown here (#3, it says it's the same person as #2 if I'm reading that correctly) instead of the line art-ed/rendered version they fully completed, because I actually really like the line work of the sketch!😊 (but that's probably just me being biased towards manga style comic art, lol). Still very good as is!
