A little about the subscription, because some patrons ask me how the subscription works, when the payment is charged, etc.

Subscription billing

First payment: You pay immediately when you become a member.

Recurring payments: You are charged on the same day each month as your initial sign-up date. For example, if you join on April 12th, you'll be charged again on May 12th.

Short months: If a month doesn't have that date (e.g., a March 31st sign-up), you will be charged on the last day of the shorter month, and your billing date will reset to that new day for future months.

Upgrades: If you upgrade your tier, you'll be charged the outstanding amount immediately for the rest of the current billing cycle, and your monthly billing date will not change.

Downgrades: If you downgrade, you'll remain on your current tier until your next billing date. 

Charge upfront billing 

First payment: You pay a one-time upfront fee to gain access to content and a creator's back catalog.

Recurring payments: After the initial payment, you are charged on the 1st of every month for the upcoming month's access, regardless of your join date.

Billing date: This is a fixed date, so a member who signs up on the 30th or 31st will still be charged on the 1st of the following month.
