Week Away & Comic Updates (Patreon)

Helloooo! Couple of things, mostly a notice about a week off coming up and then info about the upcoming comic.

I'll be out of the country for a trip 8/30 to 9/6! Should be fun, but I won't be bringing my laptop to work on anything. The monthly illustration will of course be finished before then, though, and I'll likely be livestreaming some of that process over the next week.

The upcoming comic, which I'm calling Turf War, is slated to start mid-September. I don't have a specific date in mind, but I'm aiming for the week of the 14th. In the meantime before then, you'll see most of the character designs (save for one I'm gonna keep in my pocket until they appear in the comic), maybe some 3d modeling or background sketching, and any other last minute development. I'm combing over the script one more time to make sure it's tight and precise and I've familiarized myself with a bit more of Clip Studio's comic features so ideally I have an easier time.

My goal for this comic is to up the quality and consistency as best I can, and also to make it with the hopes of getting this one in print copies later on! I've been thinking a lot about making more physical media or merch, like prints of illustrations and so forth... and I didn't really make my previous comics with that in mind oops. So ideally, this'll be the standard for my comics going forward.

I'll be posting a few of the pages publicly for advertising purposes and then the rest solely on Patreon until it's complete.

I'm really proud of what I've developed for it so far, and I can't wait for you guys to see it!!! Take care and have a lovely weekend.
