You are correct in this being a huge turning point. Episodes 13 and 14 for many fans are when the show goes from being good TV to being great TV. I love how the show uses callbacks from what seem like unimportant monster of the week episodes and draws new things for our characters to use. Buffy going thru trauma is so difficult to watch because SMG really sells the pain her character is experiencing. I get watery eyes almost every time Buffy cries lol.
