The Blu-ray apparently had the standard release and we watched that. Not the uncut. So I apologize for full length viewers who don't have this version of the show. I'll do what I can to make it right if necessary.

Bit surprised the standard (TV) cut even still exists tbh. The biggest difference AFAIK is the long Adama flashback from the first Cyclon war and the hybrid's monologue. The Adama flashback isn't that important, but the hybrid's monologue arguably is - though even that is mostly just set up for season 4. The issue will be more about syncing that anything else, for those that don't have it.

Yep. Exactly why I feel bad! Didn't even know there was a standard cut on the blu ray, but there was and it was selected somehow.

So what's up with this one? I've been on a few Patreons where they edit in the missing pieces of some shows. Is this a possibility? It might not even be worth it since so few of us watch full versions anyway. Is it available for streaming anywhere? Amazon is usually THE place for the shorter versions.🙄 By the way, exactly how long is this one, just in case I need to find it in the wild?

I may bite the bullet and upload to patreon not YouTube the entire footage of the movie and see what happens. No blurr. I know other channels do this for a lot of shows so I feel like a one time thing isn't going to effect us

I believe there are only like 4 bonus scenes. Biggest one is the extension of Adama's flashback to the end of the First Cylon War. It should be part of the Blu-ray bonuses as a 7 part (2.5min each) BSG: Razor Flashbacks webisodes. Similar to the S3 New Caprica Resistance webisodes.

The hybrid's monologue that you missed not watching the extended version is "Soon there will be four, glorious in awakening. Struggling with the knowledge of their true selves. The pain of revelation bringing new clarity. And in the midst of their confusion, he will find her, enemies brought together by impossible longing, enemies now joined as one. The way forward, at once unthinkable, yet inevitable. And the fifth, still in the shadow, will claw toward the light, hungering for redemption, that will only come in the howl of terrible suffering. I can see them all. The seven, now six, self-described machines who believe themselves without sin. But in time, it is sin that will consume them. They will know enmity, bitterness, the wrenching agony of the one splintering into the many. And then they will join the promised land, gathered on the wings of the angel - - not an end, but a beginning."

"I'll do what I can to make it right if necessary." I don't know what you mean by that. Watching it again but extended? It might be hard on you guys. Overall. ~15 minutes missing in the TV version is a lot when one didn't watch any version, but after watching TV version it's not a lot of content to add (or is it, TV wise I mean). Tho important and enriching the series. But rather not many enjoy watching the Extended version immediately after watching the TV cut. Of any medium. Although Mike liked the hybrid parts in Season 3 and the extended part with the First Hybrid he would like even more. I think. Lore-wise. No spoilers, cause the creators intended it to be watched after S03E20 at the latest. Somewhat fits after S03E07 too. Not 100% after S02E17, where only the TV version somewhat fits like a glove to a degree. Still not sure about "The Plan" but either after S04E18 or after the Season 4 finale. I myself prefer to watch TV and extended versions back to back, but after the first time I stay only with the one I liked more if rewatching. With BSG it's either of S02E10, S03E09 TV version, and only extended versions in Season 4. Whereas both versions of Caprica Pilot have their merits. But the TV version is censored and shortened. But... the extended version is older hence without CGI fixes the TV version got. A bummer the network decided to make it shorter. 😒 Anyway, here are the differences between all the versions of "Razor": ● https://www.movie-censorship.com/report.php?ID=454448 ● https://www.movie-censorship.com/report.php?ID=108133 And here for the other episodes: ● https://www.movie-censorship.com/list.php?o=1987 ● https://www.movie-censorship.com/report.php?ID=466479 For sure you shouldn't miss "Razor Flashbacks". "BSG: The Face of the Enemy" not less. Links in the second [Yahoo] email from me. Patreon rather wouldn't like them here. But they can be found by querying "battlestar archive.md" in my comments on my Reddit profile (if anyone is interested to not miss things that might not be included on some DVD/BR releases).

Flashback 1, 2 and 7 are missing on some if not all DVD/BR editions. And they're not in the extended cuts of Razor itself for sure.
