I haven't seen this episode since it aired, as pilots go it's up there. Production values actually jump up from here. There's some great acting in this show, including I think some of Anthony Hopkins' best. So many Oscar nominees and winners and Emmy winners in the cast it's kind of mad - incredibly expensive TV show to make. I think you're supposed to know what broadly happens in the movie going into this, many of the audience will so I don't think it's a spoiler to know they're robots going in or what happens in the movie. It might not be so simple in the TV show Also it is *incredibly* existentialist. I really want to say something that isn't a spoiler but if I do it might get you thinking about something that is actually a *massive* spoiler so I'll save it for a bunch of episodes. And we get a Hemsworth, they're everywhere. I can't talk about future stuff but in terms of non-spoiler post s1 what I'll say is that it depends on what type of science fiction fan you are - some types won't like after s2, but s2 is hype, I think you guys will like after s2. Also Jonathan Nolan is Chris Nolan's brother - cowrote a bunch of Nolan-attributed movies, like Interstellar, Dark Knight and so on. Him along with his wife Lisa Joy co-created this and are showrunners, and the other reason you might know the name is they produced Fallout.
