The reason we pasteurise milk is primarily to make it last longer, and partially because it kills certain things. If you know the health of the cow it's pretty safe. I know a dairy farmer who who puts "fresh" milk in his morning coffee, straight out of the cow. I wouldn't, but.. it's.. reassuring? The placement of this episode doesn't really matter too much honestly..
