This series is a  lot of fun and even the first standalone episode was a blast! It kept us on our toes and guessing who is the actual witch!

As usual, great insight and reaction guys. However, I can't imagine how you ever got the idea that Willow and Xander were ever friends with Cordelia or her crew of mean girls. Please do not stress out trying to find a system behind the use of magic in the Buffy-verse. Believe me that the ease or difficulty of using magic, or who can use it, was discussed ad nauseam in online chatrooms during the original airing of the show. Yeah, we had chatrooms, no Discord then. As great as the concept of this episode was, it shows the growing pains of the writers, directors and production crew. Was the delivery driver that almost ran over Cordelia also struck blind? This and other rough edges will be smoothed over in future seasons. (As everyone has been telling you over and over again, this season was notable for having a low budget and a hurried production schedule.)

The Expanse blessed and cursed us as we are in the 'detective' mode ! Gotta turn our brains off a bit and just enjoy it
