File this under "unsolicited advice." After watching several channels react to BSG, there are 2 facets of the show that almost every reactor gets bogged-down with: 1 - Pouring massive energy into the "Is XYZ character a cylon!?!?" It's a totally normal impulse. Who may or may not be a cylon is an ongoing mystery, designed to create tension. Plus, the sleeper agent angle is TERRIFYING. The tendency to think that anyone who acts sketchy is a cylon is tempting but it’s just as likely to be a red herring as not. Plus, if there are only 12 models, so it doesn’t make sense to introduce them early or often. 2 – Getting frustrated by religion and supernatural/unexplained occurrences. It’s incredibly unique to have overt religion in a SciFi. It’s uncomfortable. The miniseries/first episode highlighted monotheism (Six), polytheism (Starbuck, Priest) and supernatural events (Head Six showing Baltar the device and Doral as a sacrificial cylon. Dr. Amarack disappearing at just the right time.) from the jump. This show told you what it was, don’t expect that to change. These two things take up so much mental energy that they often seem to distract people from the incredible writing, stellar acting, impressive visuals (especially for the time) and some incredibly profound themes/social commentary. My theory: If you can try to bypass these or, at least, accept them as a part of this universe, what you will get out of this show will drastically increase. This show is outstanding, so I think it’s worth it.

Very fair. Through episodes 2 to 5 we have no new cylon theories. Nor do we have any thoughts on the religion besides its interesting. Cylons monotheism, polytheism for humans. Besides that we're mainly focused on how the characters are coping with the situations around them

I wasn't mentioning this as a criticism! You guys definitely seemed to just be working out how religion works in this universe during this reaction. I was only mentioning these because you guys are early in the series and avoiding going down these two paths may be beneficial. It definitely helped me.
