The contestants for Taskmaster's New Year Treat 2026 have been announced. Gregg Wallace (greengrocer and autism advocate) James Cordon (larger than life actor and writer) Jay Blades (furniture restorer and adult literacy campaigner) Kate Shemirani (former nurse, now health spokesperson) Katie Hopkins (business woman and weight loss educator) Many people are already saying they won't watch because of James Cordon being on it. It may just be online hyperbole but he is certainly a very controversial figure so it will be interesting to see what effect his appearance has on the ratings. I'm not sure if I will watch yet, although I feel it's a shame for the other contestants who haven't done anything wrong.

It's OK not to like something. However not liking Kitana and leaving negative comments about her is beyond belief those people should be ashamed.

A big portion of people just do not love pets like others do. Poor kitty, what does she knows. It's not just your cat, they'll get sick of your dog as well if you had one. I'm glad you find that comment silly more than anything. We can never please everyone. When the candle burns, it uses oxygen inside the flower vase. So outside air will try to fill the air inside the vase. Outside air will push the liquid into the vase as well.🤔 Think so.😅

I've mentioned before in previous Augusts that I live in Edinburgh, and every August we get thousands of comedians coming here, and previously I met Greg Davies and Frank Skinner a a few more. Well, I am happy to report just an hour ago I was coming out of my friend's house having just bought a load of weed, and I almost bumped right into Jessica Knappet! How exciting!

If you want to see what Jon and Lucy are like together… You should watch Meet the Richardsons. It’s surprisingly good. They play a version of themselves and there’s a fake documentary crew following them around.

I've seen Weapons too, it was good. I think it's called Weapons because the kids and the other people are being turned into weaponised and turned into killers due to what's happens them.

Hey hey its saturday was my childhood! I even auditioned for red faces (a "talent" segment of the show) with my friends and my dog. And plucka was real. It ran till the late 90s and then they tried to bring it back in the 2010s. All I recall from the comeback is white jackson 5 impersonators blacking up and harry connick jr lecturing daryl on racism. What a weird show. Love from an aussie xx PS I also have a senior siamese kitty and we love when kitana is there!
