Lol Catherine Tate’s comedy is certainly more of an acquired taste that reflects very specific types of British people than some of the more generic stuff you’ll have watched. I get not loving it, I think it’s funny but I’m not a massive fan.

The character is a reflection of *some* old people/grandmothers in this country, but I can't relate to it as she's nothing like anyone in my family, and I also find the character deeply unfunny. About 15 years ago Catherine Tate would pop up all over the place on TV as 'Nan,' everyone would laugh, I would be irritated

Sometimes, it's easy to forget that something relatable in British culture isn't always funny to a non-Brit. I absolutely love Nan, and honestly, I thought you would love this. It's a cliche to say it reminds me of my nan, but at least you tried. That's the main thing, and I certainly appreciate that. Though I really really wished you would have watched Nan Anger Management with Warwick Davies.
