Love this season!! so many iconic moments, and the contestants have *amazing* chemistry together (which is honestly what makes the difference between a meh season and a great season!!). Can't wait to see more :))

I actually went to see Greg Davies live at the Apollo like.......geez 10 or so years ago, it was pretty awesome. But the thing that put me off was London prices....for everything. Costs even more at the Apollo. D:

This is the content that distracts me from freezing my butt off! Welcome back! I love this series 🥳🥳

BazMan01

Now we are really into the golden era of taskmasters. This series is great and youl learn to love Mel. She is quirky but she's kinda lovable. Alex is so good on this show, he's often overlooked by Greg but the small comments he makes are brilliant.

Mandy Cane Lane

Alex is awesome! I love him! And this season looks like it is going to be great fun.

Mandy Cane Lane

Thank you Nathan! Sorry you are so cold, we are looking at another stupid heat wave here... 🙄

Squeesher

Wish I could visit for the heat wave lol, I could hold stuff for you to break in the rage room!

Mandy Cane Lane

Yeah I often hear London is really expensive. But watching Greg Davies live sounds like a real treat!

Mandy Cane Lane

Yes! I am really excited to see this season and happy there are 8 episodes!

FYI Mandy, green beans and broad beans (the type of bean Noel brought in) are two different things. I believe broad beans are called "el haba" in Spanish. The pods are much larger, up to a foot (30cm) long in some cases. Vegetables is the family business. :)

Lord Peanut

The golden glow lighting looks good!

Mandy Cane Lane

Haha, I did not know that! I just thought it was a mega big green bean at the end! xD

Mandy Cane Lane

Thank you! I think that might be the permanent solution.. XD

YESS!! That show is one of my favorites!! And forgot she was also in Loki! 😅😅

Mandy Cane Lane

Lmao! With my asthma and allergies, breath eludes me lately! 😅

Woody Barrelson

I like how you call Mel "the Mel woman"😂 I haven't figured out whether that's insulting in some way or not. Lolli and Noel are my favourites but the whole cast has done great stuff in the past, (except for the Mel woman I suppose). I'll refrain from suggestions for reactions as you probably want to get through the hundred pages worth you've already got... oh all right then, just one, The Mighty Boosh.

Mandy Cane Lane

Haha, will check it out when I can! And no, "the Mel woman" is not meant as an insult! It is my memory that is trash and I am not sure of I am getting her name right or not, so it's extra clarification! 🤪😅😅

Woody Barrelson

It's okay, I'm sure its totally innocent. I can't imagine you being deliberately mean to anyone, doesn't seem like your style. And you often mention your memory being terrible. I'm not so sure. You're long term memory at least, seems to be in top form!

Wayne King

I'm surprised no one mentioned that Courgettes/zucchinis and Aubergines/eggplants are NOT vegetables!

2026-09-23 20:00 You said you didn't like Aubergines (eggplant) right? When I lived in Gibraltar, I used to regularly buy Aubergine tortilla. They were so, so good! I miss them. Black, green and greasy but oh so yummy. Interesting new team then. That roller that Joe used for the ducks... that's what I would have used to destroy the cake :)

Mandy Cane Lane

Never could tolerate eggplants. 😅 This line up is interesting. So far my least favorite. 🤷🏻‍♀️ And sounds like you would make a great contestant! 🤪

John O'Meara

The woman you mistaken Lolly for will be in the latest 16th series of Taskmaster.
