About the dress 👗 there is a wiki page about it that explains some of the scientific findings about it, such as 'early risers' tend to see white and gold, whereas 'night owls' seem to see blue and black. I leave that for you to check out if you're interested. For me, it's confusing because I see both. The photo on BFQ2015 looked white and gold, but the 'original photograph of the dress' on Wikipedia looks blue and black. There are also images of two, or even three dresses next to each other that all look different, but are supposed to be the same dress! It also brings to mind (and this may be totally irrelevant), the possibility that humans being able to perceive blue may be a relatively new thing. This largely comes from the absence of any mention of 'blue' in ancient, BC era texts in which, for example, the sky is typically referred to as 'bronze' and never blue, but it's unknown whether that is due to the people of the time not perceiving blue, or just using other descriptors besides colour, such as describing the 'shininess' of the sky. If nothing else, it shows just how subjective reality is. Even when we'd swear we know what the truth is. And yes, I see it, definately Catherine Tate.
