If I ever need a pee when I'm asleep, I always dream about needing the toilet, but I can never find one and wake up in a panic. I should start dreaming of biscuits. Well in answer to your questions: sorry yes, the background is fine. Compliments you a bit actually. I'm the UK we use a mixture of imperial and metric. maths, physics or mechanical we use metric. Anything to do with food, drink, weight, height or baking we use feet, inches, stones, ounces, pounds, teaspoons, pints etc. For travel we use imperial, so miles, mph, knots, feet (or yards) measurements. Also no shame in being dirty minded, Lmao when you said that. Haha.

I only watched the first two seasons and then stopped when I went to uni in 99 and never went back to it, like a lot of shows sadly. It was one of those shows that was a lot better than it sounded.

Jen is too fussy when it comes to her choice of gentleman companion. Remember, she had a perfectly nice man and threw him away like a piece of rubbish (or garbage as an American would say) just because he didn't like tapas, was rude to a waiter and lied about having sexual relations with her. Then there was that time she dumped a nice man who took her to the theatre (or theater as an American would say) because she is homophobic. There was also that poor guy who didn't do well on Who Would Like to be a Millionaire. Now she leaves the nice Peter File at the airport, just because he isn't very good with children. She needs to compromise more. All women do.

Do whatever you feel works best, but maybe more importantly, what represents you best. But I get it, sometimes its nice to have confirmation your instincts are good. So this time I have a question for you if you don't mind. I'm curious about your dinner party history. I know you like them and have had them in the past, but has anything notable ever happened at one of yours? It does occur to me that if you did, you might have shared it here anyway, given it's the main theme of this episode. So you either don't, or you do but it's so bad you don't want to share, which makes it even MORE intriguing. 🤔 Other than that, congrats on another thoroughly entertaining half hour.👏👏🤗. Jellybelly are awesome, it's a brand name btw. They have SOOOO many flavours like candy floss, peanut butter, peach, watermelon, buttered popcorn etc etc. And then you can mix and match flavour combos. So good 😋

No, there was a an unfortunate incident with a fag butt. It was a horrible misunderstanding. I swore I never wanted anything like that to happen again so I started learning American English on Duolingo as soon as I left A&E (or ER as an American would say) and haven't looked back since.

Unrelated question Mandy, the Choripan you get there, is it made with raw chorizo or a cured one? I just saw someone make some on YouTube and they used raw(cooked obviously) but I can only get the cured variety, as far as I know anyway. Just curious if it makes any real difference. Seems like it would, but you've had the real thing so thought you might know. Very grateful for you recommending it, if nothing else, I'm a bit obsessed with chimichurri now. Make it quite a lot and have it with all kinds of stuff. 😋

70mph is the maximum legal limit on any road in the UK, but I believe technically you can get away with 10% over whatever limit you're driving on to account for speedometer inaccuracies. My motorcycle claims I'm doing 36 when I'm doing 30 (I've checked with long straight roads and GPS), so if I actually rode at 30, everyone would be annoyed with me for going too slow.
