I once drove down a road I had driven down a thousand times. I glanced to my right and spotted the best thing I had ever seen in a field. It was a big ass elephant 🐘, it just stood there with nothing else around. It turns out a circus was coming to town, but for 5 minutes I was amazed. Also, why did you check your watch to see if you were technically not on vacation?🤣 Great reaction Squeaks, thank you.🤗

When I used to walk to school the circus put them in a farmers field every year. First time I saw elephants instead of sheep I couldn't believe my eyes.

She is old now bless her. I've only ever seen her the once she likes staying in her heated hut. Oh you have to take her to see the monkeys in March now. Longleat used to have penguins, and you could feed them. My ex loved penguins so for her birthday we went to longleat and made sure we were the front of the line. I spent a fortune buying every pot of fish on sale so it was just us feeding them. One happy girlfriend lots of unhappy upset kids and angry adults in the line behind us 🤣

Mandy, if you are ever interested in finding out what a species is, whilst not an omnipresent platform (you may not have as easy a time narrowing down the exact species of some things where you are), iNaturalist is a great community science platform to upload observations of anything you've seen and then get identification suggestions based on machine learning, which are further narrowed down and supported by knowledgable community members. I use it every day to take lots of pictures of any animals and plants, great for learning about and engaging in the natural world around you! Also, I think you could have continued your day just fine without killing that spider 😅

One or two people don't like that you killed that creature. I have to disagree. It had its chance and paid the price. I have a rule in my house. Downstairs I will tolerate them as long as they keep their distance. But if any creature, especially a spider is in the bedroom, it's instant death.😅🤗

Speak for yourself Mr Read. I'm not talking to her. There's no excuse for that kind of psychotic behaviour. I looked up green crab spiders in Argentina and they average about 5mm long! They wouldn't hurt a flea! Well maybe a flea, but not anything bigger! I don't know, I guess maybe I'll get over it eventually. Hard to see her as much more than a bully now🥺

I have in fact realized the error of my ways. I have been shamefully insensitive to the plight of the 'little people'? (not sure what the appropriate terminology is) . Of course, to someone so diminutive in stature, even the smallest of creatures would appear as terrifying behemoths! I concede, #Mandythemonsterslayer indeed!

Isn't it funny how alluring stationary can be. 😂 It was one of the best things about starting school every year, all the new stationary! I too could spend a fortune in art and craft stores. And easily spend hours browsing and daydreaming all the possibilities. The last time I went into my favourite one, I ended up buying several high quality artists graphite pencils for $28AU, that's nearly $20US each! For 'lead' pencils! But they are nice.

JB, a terrarium is a glass enclosure of some kind, like a fish tank or big glass jar or custom made glass container of some kind, which you grow small plants in. Like a small garden in a mini greenhouse you can keep inside. If you keep animals in it aswell, it's called a vivarium, and if it also includes a water element, then its a paludarium. They are my favourite ones. I'm going to build a big 45cm×45cm×90cm one for my frogs, with a multi level waterfall and fish down the bottom.

Mini-series has 3-5 episodes, Series has 6-11 episodes and a Season has 12-24 episodes or sometimes even more. Just for future reference. In the UK we generally don't have seasons of shows except for our soap operas. we normally have series of shows.
